Based in Hong Kong, Frictionist is an independent publisher and producer of genre-defying fiction written in English.

Author-Publisher Suvi Lampila is a founding member of the Asia Pacific Writers & Translators Association and a member of the Women in Publishing Society. She has been awarded a Literary Arts Grant by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council for her debut novel, 7 Days and Counting.
